This year in Spanish 1, I learned a lot about how to speak and understand this language. In the beginning of the year, I could not understand what was getting said at all and I was super confused all the time. Through the year I have gotten better and I feel that I am now able to understand most of the things being said. I am most proud of the writing I have been able to create this year. I am most proud of this because it looks super good such as this book that I made called, La Asención.

Mi Cuento Original
This project was our book creation project. During this project we made books about different things from any perspective we wanted. The only rules where it had to be in all spanish and at least 200 words. I wrote mine 323 words long and that is the most I have ever wrote. Overall I got a 95/100 which is an A that is super good for me.

My Writing Progress 
Once a month (approximately), we wrote for 10 minutes (timed) using the vocabulary we had been learning in class.  Each time, our goal was to grow our word count.  Word count does NOT include proper nouns. Overall for these I wrote quite a lot averaging 100 words per write. Overall on these I got mainly A's and a B+.

Video Project
In our video projects, we described our families and friends using the verbs “ser” (to be) and “tener” to have. We made videos that where about 1:30 long and they where super fun to make. I procrastinated a lot and so I had to stay up late the night before it was do and finish it. Overall I got a B- on this project.
