SIW Reflection
The three images I have picked demonstrate the What, Why, and the Impact of the work that me and my team completed during our inspire Week. The first image is of our leader named Paul. He was a great leader who helped everyone to get the work done that needed to be completed. The What behind this image is that he helped to contain the environment no matter the situation. His leadership skills were very impressive too me and I have definently gained the knowledge of how to lead a group of people effectivly. The second image is of me and the other three people that I mainly worked with, Jake S, Jack H, and Thalia C. We got a lot of work done and finished the project together. None of us ever stopped or quit during the project. The Why behind this picture is that these are people I have connections with and I was able to rely on to complete important work that furthers our knowledge on the climate crisis and what we can do to help. The experiences I gained with these people can be used to guide my future in choosing a career. The third image that I have is of the scaffolding and the roof. This image shows the location of the project. Scaffolding and roofing is something I have dabbled in but a majority of people have not been on a roof or done physical labor for 7 hours a day. The Impact of this photo is that being able to work for something regardless of if you like it or think it is interesting can allow you to achieve your goals in life. Overall the work that we did is super valuable for the future of our civilization because it is the starting of a more energy and carbon efficient source of power. Companies like Solar Barn Raising and other green energy production companies are the building blocks to a cleaner future for everyone across the globe. |
